Managing Director

Lisa Hillman is our Managing Director, bringing with her almost 20 years of dynamic leadership experience in CQC-regulated services. Lisa has worked across a diverse range of care services, including those with learning disabilities and autism, forensic backgrounds, and high-acuity mental health. She’s held leadership roles with some of the country’s largest care providers and operated at both regional and executive levels, maintaining a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for society’s most vulnerable individuals.

Providing quality care requires a team operating at the highest standards – at Komplex Community we have brought together individuals with decades of experience within mental health, challenging behaviours, learning disabilities, and nursing to ensure that each of our clients receives the very best support.

Our extensive internal recruitment, onboarding and training processes ensure that our teams work cohesively, effectively and with clients’ needs at the heart of every decision they make. Each client has a dedicated support worker team and a service co-ordinator who provide round-the-clock care. In addition, our team includes senior managers, nurses and operations managers.

Our Clinical Nurse Managers play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients. They are responsible for overseeing and managing comprehensive care plans, ensuring that each client receives tailored support based on their individual needs. Their expertise allows them to conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying potential concerns and implementing proactive solutions to enhance client safety.

A key part of their role is to coordinate relevant referrals, ensuring seamless collaboration with healthcare professionals, specialists, and external services to optimise client outcomes. Through regular client visits, they assess ongoing needs, monitor progress, and provide expert clinical advice and interventions that help prevent health complications. Their proactive approach reduces unnecessary GP visits, ensuring that clients receive timely and appropriate care while alleviating pressure on primary healthcare services.

Beyond direct client care, our Clinical Nurse Managers play a leadership role within Komplex Community, supporting care teams, providing specialist training, and maintaining clinical governance to uphold the highest care standards. Their knowledge and experience are instrumental in delivering compassionate, nurse-led care that promotes independence and enhances quality of life.

The Head of Operations is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of our services, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency across Komplex Community. Leading and supporting Operations Managers, they provide oversight for all clients, ensuring that services are delivered seamlessly and effectively.

This role involves managing the care of clients with complex conditions, ensuring that planning and implementation are tailored to individual needs. Through proactive service coordination, the Head of Operations drives excellence in care delivery, balancing clinical and operational priorities to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.

With a strong focus on strategic planning and service development, they work closely with teams to optimise processes, improve service accessibility, and implement innovations that enhance client experiences. Their leadership ensures that Komplex Community continues to provide high-quality, person-centred care that meets both regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Our Clinical Nurse Managers are responsible for overseeing the clinical care delivered across Komplex Community, ensuring that all clients receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred support. They provide expert leadership in medication management, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards to promote safe administration and handling.

A key part of their role involves overseeing PRICE (protecting rights in a caring enviroment) principles, ensuring that staff are fully trained and competent in delivering care that prioritises client safety, dignity, and comfort. They conduct regular assessments, training, and audits to uphold best practices and mitigate risks associated with mobility support and clinical interventions.

Beyond their operational responsibilities, Clinical Nurse Managers work closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement care strategies, support clinical decision-making, and provide specialist guidance. Their expertise ensures that clients with complex care needs receive tailored support, reducing hospital admissions and improving overall well-being.

Our Operations Managers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services within Komplex Community. They oversee and manage Service Coordinators, ensuring that daily operations align with the highest standards of care and efficiency.

A key aspect of their role is coordinating multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between nurses, carers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, person-centred support for clients. They are responsible for rota management, ensuring that staffing levels are maintained, shifts are optimised, and clients receive continuous, high-quality care.

Operations Managers also oversee supplies and resource allocation, ensuring that care teams have the necessary equipment and materials to deliver safe and effective services. Additionally, they manage professional interactions, acting as key points of contact between internal teams, external stakeholders, and healthcare professionals to maintain seamless service delivery and compliance with industry regulations.

With strong organisational and leadership skills, our Operations Managers ensure that Komplex Community operates efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of care, safety, and client satisfaction.

Our Service Coordinators are at the heart of ensuring that clients receive well-structured and personalised care. They are responsible for managing care packages, ensuring that each client’s support plan is tailored to their individual needs, preferences, and health requirements.

A key part of their role is overseeing clients' daily lives and activities, ensuring they receive the right level of support to promote independence, dignity, and well-being. They work closely with carers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate services, adapting care plans as needs evolve.

Service Coordinators act as a vital link between clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth communication and continuity of care. Their proactive approach ensures that every individual under Komplex Community’s support receives high-quality, person-centred care that enhances their quality of life.
